Transportation Update

On Friday March 28th, we have 2 shuttles from the Springfield Amtrak station scheduled to depart for Decatur conference center and hotel at 2:00 pm and 5:45 pm.
On March 30th, we have shuttle service scheduled to return from the hotel to the train station, starting at 7:00 am.

Our conference is still happening this weekend! The new venue is the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel, located at 4191 US-36, Decatur, IL 62522.
Hotel Booking Updates:
- Existing reservations will be honored, but a credit card will be required upon arrival.
- The hotel room rate remains the same.
- If you have a reservation but are no longer attending, please contact Joseph S. at (217) 883-2740 to cancel.
Conference & Logistics:
- The program will remain the same, and an updated venue map will be provided at registration.
- We are actively working on transportation options for those traveling to Springfield by train or plane—details will be shared in a separate transportation thread soon.

Just an update - the conference is NOT cancelled at this time. We are working on an alternative venue. We will have an update at 5pm or so.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Wyndham City Centre will no longer be available as our venue for the ISCYPAA conference this weekend. A critical mechanical issue with the hotel’s elevator system has led to a shutdown, creating fire code compliance issues that prevent us from using the space safely.
Our host committee and advisory council are actively working to secure an alternative solution to ensure the conference can still take place as planned. We understand this is unexpected news, and we appreciate your patience and support as we navigate this challenge.
